We’re incredibly proud of our Concert Choir’s beautiful performance with the Flint Symphony Orchestra! On Saturday, November 12, they performed in Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 3 under the direction of Enrique Diemecke at The Whiting in Flint. AAYC has sung with the FSO several times before, and we hope this collaboration continues because we love singing with them!
Here are a few of the many photos of Concert Choir from that weekend. Check out the rest on our Facebook page!
AAYC choir members are now selling fresh winter greenery to brighten up the home: garlands, wreaths, plants, poinsettias in various sizes and colors, and more. These make great holiday gifts and housewarming presents, and you can order them from any choir member. The sale, which helps raise funds for Youth Chorale, continues through Tuesday, November 15.
These photos are from last evening’s Descant Choir rehearsal, as Mrs. Powell preps the boys and girls for their next performance, “Bach at Bethlehem,” a concert to benefit the homeless in Ann Arbor. There is a free will offering. Please join us, and show your support!
